Programme Overview

The 3+1+X Program provides a structured pathway for international undergraduate students to complete their final year of bachelor's studies at SDSU. During this year, participants enroll in university-level courses alongside domestic students, earning transferable credits toward their home institution’s degree while preparing for graduate education in the United States.

Eligibility Requirements

Applicants to the program must be full-time undergraduate students currently in their third year of study. A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required, supported by official transcripts covering the first three years of academic work. Regarding English language proficiency, applicants must submit a valid test score meeting the minimum requirements of TOEFL 61, IELTS 5.5, or Duolingo 90. Alternatively, candidates with a CET-4 score of 500 or a CET-6 score of 470 may fulfill this requirement by participating in an admissions interview.
